The Set-Up ID Card module allows institutions to design and configure customized ID card formats for students and staff. This setup defines the card size, layout, field placement, and print structure for both the front and back sides of the ID card.
1. Card Format Section
Card Formats
- Used to create or select an ID card format.
- Enter a new format name (e.g., Student ID Card, Staff ID Card).
- Existing formats can be retrieved using Inquire.
Inquire
- Fetches saved ID card formats.
- Allows viewing, modifying, or deleting existing designs.
Self-Print
- Defines the printing method.
- Options may include:
- Yes – Card will be printed internally using your own printer
- No – Card will be printed externally

2. Front Side Configuration
This section defines the front layout of the ID card.
Front Side – Size Settings

| Left Distance | Space from the left edge before content starts. |

- A dropdown list displays all available ID card fields such as:

- Select the required field and click + Append Field.
- Each appended field can be positioned precisely within the card layout.
3. Back Side Configuration
This section defines the reverse side of the ID card.
Back Side – Size Settings

Generate ID Card
The Generate ID Card module is used to create and print ID cards for members using the predefined card formats created in Set Up ID Card. This module supports individual and bulk ID card generation with flexible orientation options.

This screen allows users to select an ID card format, choose members, and generate printable ID cards.
