  1. In/Out Management:

This module helps in managing a systematic and detailed report about membersas well as non- members who visit the library each day according to the respective date and time.


How to access the In/Out Management module?:
  1. Click once on the In/Out Management module, which appearson the front page of Easylib software, to open the Easylib Login screen.
  2. Enter the correct User ID and Password.
  3. The main page appearscontaining a list of all the menus and sub-menus of In/Out Management

modulewhich are displayed below: -

  1. Many people visit the libraryeveryday for variouspurposes. By using this screen,you are able to keep a track of the members as well as non-members (no membership), coming to the library according to the date and time.
  2. This screencan be accessed by selecting In/Out Register submenu from the In/Out

drop down menu or by pressingthe Ctrl + I buttons from the keyboard.


  1. If the visitor is already a member of the library, then you can directly enter the member id in the Existing Member/Visitor ID text box. This will display the member details on the top right corner of the screen under the Visitor Detailssubpart. Here, you can also specify the reason for the visit by selecting the desired option from the Purpose of Visit list box such as Item Transaction, Reference, Official, Personal or General. Next, click on the Check In button, to add the record in the grid. Whenever you check in a confirmation message box appears as “Welcome to our library!”
  2. Double click on the grid to display the ID in the Existing Member/Visitor ID text box. Now click on the Check Out button to record the exit time of the respective person. Also whenever you check out a confirmation message box appearsas “Thank you for visiting our library!”
  3. If the visitoris coming to the libraryfor the first time then you have to first create a separate id for the respective visitor.
  4. This can be done by adding the required detailsin the Add Visitor Detailssubpart. The Visitor ID is automatically generated.
  5. Once the relevantdetails have been entered, you can click on Add & Check In button to directly add the record in to grid. If you click on Add button, it will only save the record. You will have to enter the ID once again to record the check in timings.
  6. You can also search for the member/visitor records by enteringthe name in the

Member/Visitor Name text box.

  1. Today’s Visitors button will list the entire recordsabout all the people who have visited the library.
  2. The currenttime and date will be displayed at the top right corner of the screen.

  1. This screen allows you to keep a track of the libraryusers by generating Datewise reports based on Member, Visitors or Both.
  2. Select In/Out Reportsubmenu from the Reports menu or press Ctrl + R buttons from the keyboard, to activate this feature.
  3. Select From and To Date ranges for which you want to generate the report. Next select any one from the Member, Visitors or Both radio buttonsand click on the List button to display the data in the grid. The records will be listed as Date, ID, Name, Time-In, Time-Out and Purpose of Visit.
  4. The displayed recordscan be sorted according to your requirements by selecting the data from the Sort By list box.
  5. The print previewof the above list can be obtainedin HTML, Notepad and Excel

formats and the print can be taken by clicking the Print Icon button in the menu bar.

All the screens presentin the module can be set accordingto the respective profile or user that is logging into this module. To access this feature, click on the Setup menu and select the Screen Setup submenu or press the Ctrl + S buttons from the keyboard.



  1. HTML Setup:

This screen can be accessed by clicking on the Setup pull down menu and selectingthe HTML Setup submenu. The features of this screen have already been explained in the Setup and Security module.
